Rice is considered to be a staple in many Indian homes, this soup is a good source of protein, vitamins, calcium and starch and easy to digest for your baby.
- 3 cups of filtered water
- 2 tbsps rice
Boil rice in water until it is well cooked and soft. Mash it and strain through a sieve to get a thin rice soup.
First, introduce your baby only the boiled water in which you cooked your rice and gradually smash cooked rice according to your baby’s chewing ability.
You could also add some mashed dal and vegetable broth for added nutrition and flavor.
