Make sure you introduced all the vegetables mentioned here prior to making this soup. You can make the soup thick or watery depending upon your baby’s convenience. It is a rich source of vitamins, calcium, phosphorus, and iron.
- ¼ portion of a medium-sized carrot
- ¼ portion of a medium-sized potato
- ¼ portion of a medium-sized tomato
- ¼ portion of a small cabbage
- 1 tbs frozen peas
- 3 cups of filtered water
Method:
Clean, peel and chop all the vegetables. Put the vegetables and water in a pressure cooker and cook until all vegetables are soft. Mash the mixture and strain through a sieve for a clear soup.
You can use the clear soup as a base for the baby’s rice cereal mix as well.
For a thicker soup blend the mixture in a food processor.
