Mixed Vegetable Soup

Make sure you introduced all the vegetables mentioned here prior to making this soup. You can make the soup thick or watery depending upon your baby’s convenience. It is a rich source of vitamins, calcium, phosphorus, and iron.

Mixed Vegetable SoupIngredients:

  • ¼ portion of a medium-sized carrot
  • ¼ portion of a medium-sized potato
  • ¼ portion of a medium-sized tomato
  • ¼ portion of a small cabbage
  • 1 tbs frozen peas
  • 3 cups of filtered water

Method:
Clean, peel and chop all the vegetables. Put the vegetables and water in a pressure cooker and cook until all vegetables are soft. Mash the mixture and strain through a sieve for a clear soup.
You can use the clear soup as a base for the baby’s rice cereal mix as well.
For a thicker soup blend the mixture in a food processor.
