Lentil Clear Soup ( Daal ka Paani)

This watery lentil soup is a good source of protein, B vitamins, magnesium, iron, and zinc. 

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup filtered water
  • 2 tbsps split yellow gram or red lentils
  • Pinch of turmeric

Method:
Cook the lentil with one cup of water and a pinch of turmeric. Mash the boiled lentil in the remaining water itself and strain through a sieve to get a clear watery daal soup.
You can gradually reduce the quantity of water to the mashed dal to make it a thicker and more wholesome meal for your baby.
