Lovely melt in your mouth eggless custard cookies recipe which taste so delicious with a cup of hot tea or coffee
- 225g butter
- 1/2 cup icing sugar
- 2 cups of All Purpose Flour
- Baking Powder – 1/2 tsp
- 1/2 cup custard powder
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Salt – 1/4 tsp
Preheat the oven to 180C.
Ensure butter is room temperature. Cream the butter and sugar together.
Swift the flour with custard powder, salt, and baking powder. Add Vanilla followed by the flour mixture. Mix until smooth dough.
Divide the dough into small size balls.
Place the balls on a parchment lined cookie sheet. Use a fork to flatten and mark the top. Bake cookies in a preheated oven for about 10 to 12 minutes
Cool on a cookie rack completely before you transfer to a jar. These can be stored for up to 2 weeks.
