Caramel Bread Pudding

Caramelised Bread Pudding
Caramel bread pudding is one of the easiest and the quickest dessert you’ll ever make. It taste super delicious and looks even prettier. 

Ingredients

  1. Bread slices-4
  2. eggs -2
  3. milk -one cup
  4. sugar -1/4 cup
  5. condensed milk -3tbsp(optional)
  6. vanilla essence -2 tsp
  7. sugar -3 tbsp to Caramelise
  8. pinch of salt

Method

Take a small pan, add sugar and one tbsp water , gently mix and let it caramelise. Pour this caramelised sugar syrup in pudding tin and set aside .

Remove the edges of the bread and crumble it using a mixer jar. In the same jar add all the other ingredients and whisk until smooth. Pour this batter over the caramelised sugar and place the pudding tin in a steamer and steam for about 35 to 40 minutes until it’s cooked. To check if it’s cooked insert a toothpick or knife into the center of the pudding, if it comes out clean, it’s done.
let it cool down completely and refrigerate if for at least 3 hours. Serve chilled
